Cleaning your Silver


Why does silver tarnish? When silver is exposed to air - it tarnishes. Silver will also tarnish more quickly when it is exposed to damp/humid air and therefore should be kept covered.

Silver; whether it is jewelry or serving pieces, is not something we think to clean very often until it's time to break them out for a special occasion.

There are many things to keep your silver from coming into contact with. Here are a few:

  • Rubber
  • Table Salt
  • Displaying Flowers or Fruit

The acids in these can etch and damage your silver.

Got A Grass Stain?

When your kids are playing in the yard or you’re on your knees doing yard work, it can be quite common to get grass stains on the knees of our pants. The problem with grass stains is they can be mixed with more than just grass.
