How To Remove Barbecue Stains Warmer days are here for awhile and many of us are grilling on the barbecue more frequently. We are enjoying wonderful foods, family, and friends. That's all great but what else comes with barbecuing? Stains! Stains on carpets, clothes, and tablecloths. When these kinds of stains happen - speed is the key. If you don't get to it right away, it doesn't mean it the stain is forever there, it just makes it easier to remove when it's a new stain. Remove a Fresh Barbecue Stain From Clothing 1. Get a dull knife or something similar to scrape as much of the barbecue up as possible. Be very careful not to rub the stain into the fabric more than it already is. 2. When you're dealing with clothing, run the backside of the stain under cold water forcing it back out. 3. Then using a mild detergent (liquid), blot (don't rub) this on the stain.
